What we do

Everything outside the drywall.

One licensed contractor for the whole exterior — plus additions and full construction when you need more than a repair.

Roofing

Full tear-off and replacement in asphalt or standing-seam metal, plus leak repair and ice-dam work. Ice-and-water shield on every eave.

Siding & trim

Fiber cement, insulated vinyl and cedar over a properly wrapped wall. We replace rotted sheathing instead of covering it up.

Gutters & windows

Seamless gutters rolled on site, leaf guards, and replacement windows and doors that actually seal against an Upstate February.

Additions & builds

Dormers, garages, second stories and rental turns. We pull the permits, run the trades and hand you a signed final inspection.

Neighbors, mostly.

Tore off and finished a 28-square roof in a day and a half in August heat. My driveway was cleaner when they left than when they got here.

Dan R.Penfield · Roof replacement

Tres presupuestos e Innovation fue la única que me explicó todo en español, sin apuro. El trabajo quedó perfecto.

Rosa V.Rochester · Siding

Found rotted decking under the old shingles, texted me a photo, and gave me the extra cost before touching it. That is why I would use them again.

We don’t take a season off.

Plenty of contractors disappear in November and resurface in April. Our trucks roll all twelve months, because a hole in your roof does not wait for good weather.

Spring

42°F

Winter finds every weak spot. March through May we are repairing what the ice dams opened up and replacing the gutters that gave out in February.

Summer

92°F

Peak season. Tear-off starts at 7 a.m. to beat the heat, and the deck is dried in before the afternoon storms come off the lake.

Fall

51°F

The busiest calls of the year. Everyone wants a new roof before the first freeze, so we run two crews a day to get houses closed up in time.

Winter

24°F

Yes, we roof in January. Shingles get hand-sealed in the cold, and the emergency line stays open for tarping and leak repair through every storm.

Moss-covered shingles · Full replacement

Same house. New roof.

The same roof before and after replacement. On the left, asphalt shingles heavily covered in green moss and dark staining. On the right, a clean new grey shingle roof on the same house.

How it goes

Three steps. No surprises.

01

We walk it

Usually within 48 hours. You get photos of everything we find, including the parts that are fine.

02

Written price

Every material and labor line spelled out, same day. No pressure close, no discount that expires tonight.

Build & walk-through

Crew at 7 a.m., yard tarped, magnets run twice. Final invoice comes after you are satisfied — not before.

The owner

“I have been on job sites since I was a kid in Oaxaca. You finish the part nobody will ever see the same way you finish the front of the house. That is how my family was taught, and that is how we work.”

Alonzo Figueroa grew up in Oaxaca, Mexico, and has worked in construction his entire life. He brought the trade to Rochester twenty years ago and built Innovation Construction into a family business — his sons, his brother and his cousins are on the crews, and they are the same faces you will see on your roof.

He still climbs the ladder on the first inspection of every job. Every crew is bilingual, and nothing gets handed off to a subcontractor.
